Vincent Lugo Park Adventure

Just off the 10 freeway in San Gabriel is Vincent Lugo Park. With open areas for playing catch or tossing a
Frisbee it gives you a space for fun & frolicking.

Just behind this lovely open area is an even more lovely trail. It runs along the river basin and has a great view of people backyards. It is a nice stroll with decorative foliage and well done rock basins.

Along the trail is also a small section with informative panels about the various native plants that surround these paths.

There is also some nice artwork done by children on tiles decorating the path as part of the renovation project in '95.

There are several picnic areas with a considerable amount of tables. They also have small barbecues (charcoal) for public use.

A baseball field with batting cages is just to the left of the main park.

And for the main event.

The monster park! Its an awesome playground with stone play equipment which at first may sound dangerous but then you see it and its amazing!

Some of the slides are stone and some are metal so beware on hot days.

There are so many reasons this playground is great.

I mean look at his face. He is so excited!

Who doesn't like Seals?

Dolphin family.

Pirates.

Lighthouse&Serpent-Dragon-Thing. All we need is a princess.

Broken arm means no playing for Mr. Octopus.

Snail slide!

And of course this adventure would not be complete without.......

Lopsided snail butt.

Overall this park is great and we will definitely be coming back.!
